I am not very good at asking for help but I don't know what else I can do. I need money to move. I am in Orlando FL, and I am trying to relocate to Weston FL
Back in 2008 my husband molested my daughter. He was in the military. I had him thrown in jail, they had me thrown out of housing and cut me off. I put myself back in school so I could create a future for my family and was using student loans to pay my bills because I got laid off a little over a year now and haven't been able to find work since.
This last house that we moved into has just about destroyed what little fight I have left. The landlord is a slumlord, 3 days into living here our house starts flooding. No money to move, I have been pushing her to fix it or to let me out of my lease. She finally offers some money and a month free to find a place after threatening to sue her, and I accepted it- and haven't paid rent- and she just gave me an eviction notice.
I finally have a job offer, in another county. It's the first offer I have had in a while and it's a good one, Manager in training for a pizza company. But, I can't get there. I have $1300 to my name. If I fight the eviction, then I lose the money I have to move with because I have to give it to the clerk of courts to pay rent while I fight. I have a friend who has his real estate license and is helping me find a place within my projected salary range to move into, all I need is the money to move- and get into an apartment (well basically whatever my $1300 won't cover).
I don't want to burden anyone but I have nobody to help me, my mom lived off of me for a year and is now living in her bosses basement, and my dad helps everyone but me. The rest of my family is a bunch of alcoholics so they are always broke. I can't count on my ex husband's family because when I put him in jail they stopped talking to me.
I was a homemaker for a few years, but I can do some things to earn my way fast; I can make pretty webpages, I can clean, mow grass (light gardening but I'm not that good at it), cook (I am a GREAT cook, especially if you like grease) and teach about nutrition and teach recipes, and babysit. If someone is willing to help financially it doesn't have to go to me, it can go to the landlord when I find the place. I need this to happen fast, I mean,like 2 weeks fast....
Please, Can anybody help me, or point me into the direction of an organization that can?
